Frequently asked questions!

  • When it comes to kitchen countertops, both granite and quartz are exceptional choices, each one valuable in its own making. Both materials have natural minerals, but differ from the manufacturing process. Read more about Granite and Quartz in our article here.

  • Quartz can be used for all types of applications, from countertops to backsplashes, showers, stairs and in your home office, you choose!

  • Having a seam in your kitchen is completely normal, larger kitchens usually require seams. Seams can occur in long corners, waterfalls, or between pieces that are longer than 126”-130”.

  • First we want to know the rough dimensions of your project so we can estimate the value and the time it would take to complete it.

We then recommend for you to stop by our showroom and pick a colour! *please bring a sample of your kitchen cabinet if you can!

  • The entire process shouldn’t take longer than a month! From the designing stage, to the choosing of your colour, to templating, manufacturing, and installation.

Once templating is done and the material is delivered, it takes about four days to a week for completion, depending on the size of your project!

  • Once all your cabinets are installed and all tools are out of the way— we are ready to move in for installation!

If we need to remove an old countertop prior to installation, the existing plumbing must be disconnected first.

  • Maintaining your countertop is easy! We recommend cleaning all spills as soon as you can, using soap, water and a soft towel.

Avoid products with acid such as bleach or vinegar (more so on granite and marble), to keep the surface finish from etching and maintaining the uniform look. If you do end up with acid on your countertop, wipe it off as soon as you can, and rinse the rest with water and soft sponge.
