Out In The Woods

The season of soups and pumpkins is upon us. We find ourselves in the middle of fall, out at the cabin. It’s the perfect time for a weekend getaway, to recharge and cozy up before winter hits. It’s also time for overalls and wool socks, for steaming bowls of soup and quiet time. 

When we designed this cabin, our goal was comfort with style while still honoring the warmth of natural wood. The walls, ceiling, and kitchen are designed to bring a cozy yet outdoorsy atmosphere. At the center of it all, our marvelous quartz countertop transforms the space with a fresh and modern look. Balancing it beautifully, a dark Dekton backsplash (made from quartz, glass, and porcelain), rounds out the edges, bringing depth and texture to the space. 

Imagine the sound of wood crackling in the fireplace, and you’re about to enjoy a delicious meal after a day out fishing. Red cheeks and frosty fingers, you’re warming up sipping on steaming soup, comfortably leaning on the off-white speckled countertop. The sun is setting, lighting up the space in beautiful colours of orange, harmonizing with design in nature's golden tones. 

It gets quiet here at the cabin. You’re ready to cuddle up on the couch in a pair of wool socks, indulging in chapters of a good book. Multiple cups of coffee will be brewed, and lots of chocolate will be consumed. Oh, what a gorgeous day filled with special memories out in the woods.
